    JOB SUMMARY


    This position will be accountable for support of the purchasing team while acting in an assistant capacity to Supply Chain Management and senior members of the procurement team.

    Will work under normal supervision to perform standard duties. Has the responsibility for running reports Excel, CMMC and CostPoint.

    Will perform quote creation and data entry, printing and assigning requisitions, will generate and maintain KPI metrics, electronic filing and other duties as required.

    Responsible for timely processing of RFQs to suppliers, quotations specialist prepares and sends quote packages and follows up with suppliers, and compiles the CBOM.

    Analyst will work closely with buyers, planners and Purchasing Management to help maintain and update the database, Supply Chain metrics and keep the team informed of supplier status updates.

    Manufacturing environment experience preferred.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    " Uses judgment and discretion to complete tasks.
    " Organizes vendor lists, quotations and files, preparing and reviewing requests for quotation and coordinating details with suppliers, including revisions to price, discontinued items, back orders, order cancellations, etc.
    " Perform multiple data entry functions pertinent to Supply Chain operations.
    " Maintains Supplier files, including SBA certifications and insurance, as necessary.
    " Generate and maintain KPI metrics essential to Supply Chain performance.
    " Working closely with purchasing manager, purchasing leads and pricing department, to process RFQs in a timely manner and support customer proposal activities.
    " Provide suppliers a priority when multiple requests are in place, communicate internally and manage expectations.
    " Ensure suppliers quotes are electronically entered and properly filed within the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
    " Monitor and manage supplier response time. Suggest, plan and execute improvement initiatives.
    " Liaison between Cyber Security Team and associated supply base.
    " Assist purchasing team with due diligence towards purchase order preparation.
    " Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand CBOM structure is desired.
    " Experience in using ERP/MRP package is a plus.
    " Experience in a manufacturing, preferably in defense, automotive and medical environment is a plus.

    Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations.


    Pay Range:
    $52,400- $78,600
