We are searching for a dynamic and experienced operations leader to join our team to play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and logistics operations to ensure efficient production and delivery.


In this role, you will support the planning, ordering, and monitoring of the movement and delivery of finished goods ensuring they remain on schedule, and in excellent condition.

You will also maintain key supplier relationships and ensure compliance.

This role reports directly to the Managing Director and manages the supply chain team of analysts and logistics professionals including third-party suppliers.

Responsibilities:

Demand Planning and Purchasing- Develop and execute planning and purchasing strategies to support the strategic objectives of the business- Lead and oversee the global supply chain to ensure on-time product delivery and optimization of supplier relations- Direct the distribution, demand planning and purchasing functions to meet global product demand forecasts- Oversee collaboration with Product, Sales, Marketing and Finance to assess the Demand Plan by Market, SKU, Month, etc.- Generate forecasts for suppliers and Global Procurement in order to ensure visibility on future requirements- Direct the analysis on capacity at key suppliers to maximize delivery- Support the management of third-party assemblers to ensure timely delivery and quality of service- Oversee and manage all operational and demand planning (eg. S&OP)- Lead and motivate a matrixed team of Global Operations professionals, including analysts, planners, and logistics coordinators, to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives- Participate on the Management Team and support the long-range strategic planning for the future success of the brand

Inventory & Logistics- Manage third-party and vendor relationships, ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliveries- Lead the tracking, analyzing and reporting on inventory, shipping, freight and duty costs and benchmarks to support company initiatives- Evaluate opportunities to reduce cost and streamline processes regarding global inventory and logistics- Manage the logistics team- Develop inventory policies and process improvements- Ensure effective cost recovery on our standard & express shipping charges


Information Systems- Direct and support the execution of key IT and reporting initiatives across the business- Ensure all systems are adequately protected and working effectively to support users- Oversee the procurement and implementation of key software and hardware to support business initiatives- Support IT projects for the Pon.

Bike Group, ensure monitoring and budget management


Skills and Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience working in a supply chain environment and managing a global team 57+ years of experience in Demand Planning and S&OP management 5+ years of experience managing teams Bachelor's degree in business, operations or related field Experience with an ERP software system; system implementations & improvements Experience providing IT oversight and executing IT projects Exceptional communication skills, facilitation skills and interpersonal skills Ability to manage various projects, superior organizational skills and time management abilities Experience in the consumer goods industry is preferred Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines Passion for cycling and a genuine interest in the outdoor sports industry is a plus CPIM/CSCP certification preferred Experience working with a supply chain base in Asia Ability to travel 1020% of the time, valid passport required

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.
