    Company Overview: Engtal is recruiting for a leading logistics company based in Chicago, IL, specializing in providing comprehensive brokerage services to clients across various industries. With a commitment to efficiency, reliability, and client satisfaction, we strive to deliver innovative solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each customer.

    Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Brokerage Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in brokerage sales, with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships. This role specifically excludes carrier sales experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the brokerage business and expand the client base.
    • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique transportation needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service for clients.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and optimize transportation logistics, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform decision-making and provide valuable insights to clients.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.
    • 2-5 years of experience in brokerage sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong understanding of transportation logistics and supply chain management principles.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
    • Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a results-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Existing book of business preferred but not required.
