This role sells IT - related products and solutions to a variety of B2B customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis.
  • Qualify sales opportunities through discovery/assessment. Identify who the Buying influencers are, who has the Authority to make the financial decision, performs a Needs Analysis and obtains the Timeline for when the system must be in place.
  • Demonstrates products and solutions utilizing product demo programs and by working with technical staff to set up solution demonstrations.
  • Closes sale and prepares required sales documentation (sales order, contracts, SOWs, signed authorizations from clients, etc.).
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of product availability and company's delivery and installation timetables.
  • Travels primarily throughout New England to present products and solutions to regular and prospective customers.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with influential endusers, purchasing contacts and executive level decisionmakers.
  • Conduct lead generation activities to prospect for new clients.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop customized solutions for clients. *Works with inside sales to quote prices. *Works with accounting department to provide credit terms. *Works with the Solutions team to Puts together a Statement of Work (SOW) outlining the solution we are providing along with a description of the project including terms and conditions of the purchase.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred); or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good working knowledge of computers and related peripherals as well as good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional software.
  • Various manufacturer sales certifications will need to be maintained (i.e., Microsoft, HP, Cisco, Citrix, etc.)
  • Current driver's license with good driving history (< 2 minor violations in last 3 years; no major violations in last 5 years)
  • Proven experience in technology sales or technical sales.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities.
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Selfmotivated with a resultsoriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.

From $65,000.00 per year
