    What are we looking for in our Sales Support Specialist?


    An American Stock Exchange Company is looking to hire a contract Sales Support Specialist

    Location: Atlanta, GA / Remote

    Contract: 6 Months

    Pay: $30-39/ hourly

    The role supports sales representatives and channel partners by providing administrative assistance in various areas such as order processing, customer quotes, sales information management, product training, and financing. Responsibilities are multifaceted and may encompass a combination of disciplines within the Sales Support and Administration Function.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Review briefing materials for client calls and meetings from the sales team, anticipating executive management's needs, ensuring timely provision of materials, and adhering to standards.
    • Identify trends and competitors to assist the sales team by providing detailed reports and information.
    • Conduct cold calls to prospective larger and more complex clients, summarizing relevant information.
    • Develop and deliver complex and advanced charts, graphs, tables, and presentations.
    • Research and interpret financial and statistical data from various databases, drawing conclusions and trend information for presentation to the sales team.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures, contributing to the efficient operation of the sales function.
    • Possess a deep understanding of the product portfolio to effectively support sales initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • Education Required: Degree qualified in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
    • Experience Required: 6 to 8 years in relevant roles.
    • Business Expertise: Understanding of key business drivers, competition, and integration with other areas.
    • Leadership: Guides colleagues, accountable for competent standards and timely delivery.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Communicates effectively, fosters debate, shares knowledge, and endorses best practices.
    • Technical Skills & Requirements:
    • Competitor Knowledge: Analyzes competitor data and draws conclusions for strategy.
    • Customer Knowledge and Retention: Understands customer needs, maintains customer information, and ensures retention.
    • Documenting/Recording Information: Proficient in recording and maintaining complex information.
    • Market Knowledge/Technical Knowledge of Products: Understands offerings, technologies, and leverages knowledge for customer solutions.
    • Relationship Building: Asks clarifying questions, embraces customer service, and develops specialized customer expertise.
    • Sales Performance Measurement, Analytics, and Evaluation: Validates data accuracy, engages in sales planning and monitoring, and uses advanced data analytics for stakeholder benefit.
