    Description
    The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the general ledger and supervising accounting staff. This position ensures the proper collection, organization, and reporting of data for both internal and external users.

    In addition, the Accounting Manager identifies and recommends needed changes to systems and people to provide the best service organization possible.

    **

    This position is onsite position in Salt Lake City, Utah**

    Responsibilities
    Manages accounting staff, including performance reviews, providing direction for duties, and training employees. Motivates accounting staff to accomplish duties and goals of the department. Understands and can perform job functions of these employees.

    Performs month and year-end closings including journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements for review by V.P.

    of Finance.
    Manages cost accounting function.
    Analyzes, tracks, and reconciles capital investments; maintains fixed asset system.
    Performs payroll duties, as well as year-end filings and employee W-2's.
    Maintains, reports, and files quarterly, and yearly taxes.
    Directs and manages yearly third-party audit process.
    Provides support to other departments through financial analysis and reporting.
    Maintains department standard work, training schedules, and training matrix.
    Manages projects and other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    10+ years accounting experience required.
    Master's Degree and 3-5 years' management experience preferred.
    Manufacturing and cost accounting experience preferred.

    Additional Information
    Proficient in Word and Excel (Microsoft Office 365).
    Strong written and oral communication skills.
    Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
    Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments.

    Full-time

    Salary:
    $105,000 - $120,000 per year
