    We are looking to place a mid-level Water Resources Specialist to provide support for Department of Defense (DoD) programs in Washington, DC.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain utilities commodities (e.g., source water and supporting infrastructure) and governance and programmatic documents (e.g., DAFIs, policies, procedures); action plan(s) recommendations; task and inquiry responses; and issue resolution action plan(s) under SAF/IEE program management oversight.
    • Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders by participating in meetings and forums and coordinating, consolidating, developing, and delivering and presenting associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, after action reports, minutes).
    • Manage and provide oversight for evaluating utility systems and utilities management and policy (e.g., water management) analysis and decision documents and post-award oversight.
    • Obtain and analyze data inputs and for developing, coordinating, maintaining, and publishing water and utilities Sections in the AEMR.
    • Provide expert training (e.g., hydrological sciences, water scarcity, water rights) to SAF/IEE personnel, strategic partners, and stakeholders.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in utilities (e.g., commodities, water, natural gas) program management.
    • Experience and knowledge in installation and mission support areas to enable collaborating with, directing, and leading teams to analyze complex problems and interpret strategies and guidance from Senior Air Force leaders.
    • Knowledge of Federal, state, and/or local regulations and statutes, as well as Air Force or DoD regulations and documentation is preferred.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a current SECRET security clearance is required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
