CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Senior Network Security Administrator. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart GE. This position is required to travel OCONUS.
This is a short term (6 month) full time position with the possibility of a follow-on assignment. This assignment offers a highly competitive salary and full Per Diem TDY benefits.
The Senior Network Security Administrator is responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, repairing and supporting enterprise and data center firewalls, routers, switches, IDS/IPS, load balancers, and security appliances on multiple enclaves.
They configure and maintain devices in accordance with security policies and make recommendations in the design & deployment of state-of-the-art secure network architectures.
The Senior Network Security Administrator develops and deploys security policy for Cisco FirePower Firewalls (FTD), Palo Alto Firewalls, BlueCoat Web Proxy, F5 Load Balancers, and Cisco ISE.
They provide assistance via remote access, phone, or in person.Candidates need excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with network hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity.
They must be customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources.More About the Role:
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.
The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.
The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.They must operate, maintain, and manage the Security infrastructure (e.g., switching and routing devices, firewalls, load balancers, ISE, IDS/IPS).
The Senior Network Security Administrator coordinates hardware and software system installation and ensures specifications are met. They create and maintain thorough documentation for all incident resolutions and troubleshooting instructions in the Knowledge Databases.
As required, work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance or higher
BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
CCNA or Palo Alto PCNSA Certification
CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater)
Experience with Cisco FirePower Firewalls (FTD), Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco ISE
Experience with DoD IT security requirements
Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Familiarity with F5 appliances, Cisco DNA Center, BlueCoat Web Proxy
Familiarity with JRSS Security Architecture & Operations
Experience with Comply-To-Connect (C2C) utilizing Cisco ISE
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Git
CCNP Security / PCNSE Certifications
