Responsibilities:
- Conduct client intake interviews to assess eligibility for Social Security Disability benefits.
- Gather and review medical records, employment history, and other relevant documentation to build strong cases.
- Prepare and submit appeals, requests for reconsideration, and other necessary paperwork on behalf of clients.
- Represent clients at hearings before Administrative Law Judges, presenting evidence and arguments in support of their claims.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate case files and documentation.
- Stay informed about changes in SSDI regulations and policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Social Security Disability Advocate.
- Strong understanding of SSDI regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
- EDPNA certification preferred but not required.
