A law firm in San Diego, CA is seeking a Healthcare Litigation Special Counsel with 7-15 years of experience to handle complex legal issues related to healthcare litigation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background from a top-tier law school and exceptional writing skills. Experience managing cases and supervising junior attorneys is essential, and trial experience is preferred.Duties:
Manage and oversee healthcare litigation cases from inception to resolution.
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex healthcare issues.
Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
Requirements:
~ Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
~ Active membership in the State Bar of California.
~7-15 years of experience in healthcare litigation, preferably in a large law firm setting.
~ Proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation matters.
~ Exceptional writing and communication skills.
