    Job Overview: A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking an experienced and skilled Employment Litigation Of Counsel to defend and litigate a variety of employment-related claims, provide counsel to employers on labor law matters, and represent clients in court, arbitration, and administrative proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing litigation cases, including class and collective actions, focusing on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.

    • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges.
    • Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues.
    • Represent employers in court and arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediation in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
    • Preference for experience in Class Action/PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) cases.
    • Hold a JD from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.
    • Possess 9+ years of experience in employment litigation, with significant experience managing and running cases in a first-chair capacity.
    • Maintain current California Bar admission in good standing.
    • Demonstrate supervisory experience over associate and paralegal work, including delegating assignments and providing feedback.
    • Exhibit an in-depth understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures.
    • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
    • Showcase the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Have strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
    • Uphold a commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.
