- Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
- Supervise associates and guide as necessary.
- Work with experts to gather necessary information and testimony.
- Assist in fact development and participate in depositions.
- Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
- Contribute to the development of case strategy.
- Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
- Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
- Meet deadlines and perform work duties as required.
- Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with clients.
- Comply with all firm policies and practices.
- Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
- Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.
- 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
- Bar admission.
- Direct and applicable experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm.
- Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
- A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is required.
- Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong academic background from a nationally recognized school.
