- Minimum associates degree in business, human resources, or healthcare field.
- Minimum three years medical office experience with reception/registration, scheduling, medical coding and/or business experience.
- Effective communication skills. Good organizational and problem solving skills.
- Manages ASC policies, procedures, forms and documentation tools. Ensures online access, monitors review dates, updates, creates, and revises content as necessary or when requested.
- Coordinates human resource services for ASC employees including payroll and benefits.
- Oversight for employee recruiting, pre-hire, and onboarding.
- Coordinates ASC information systems. Serves as a resource, manages log in/passwords, and coordinates computer system upgrades.
- Maintains databases that can be drawn upon for reports, analysis, and process improvement activities.
- Contributes to the annual quality plan and participates in process improvement activities
- Participates in the monitoring of data related to the financial performance of the ASC. Collaborates with the Administrator to develop and implement action plans to improve financial performance.
- Serves as a "hub of communication." Distributes information to staff and customers utilizing a variety of effective communication methods. Acts as a liaison between leadership, associates, and customers. Serves as a key contact person at the ASC for departments of the hospital and physician office practices.
- Monitors, orders, and maintains business office supplies. Manages the acquisition and repair of business office equipment.
