- Coordinates the education process for Tower Hill employees including assessing educational needs, planning, developing, and implementing and/or presenting appropriate training; and evaluating educational outcomes.
- Develops and facilitates in-house educational seminars/workshops. This includes but is not limited to, classes required for license requirements, professional development, leadership skills, communication skills, insurance industry designation classes, etc.
- Oversees successful design, implementation, delivery, and reporting of the LMS site and integration with the organization's other sites as needed. Trains all employees on proper LMS usage, including reporting and assignment of training by managers and supervisors.
- Develops career pathing as appropriate for each major job family and provides career counseling to associates.
- Develops and implements training programs for new supervisors to assist in the transition into their new roles. This training includes both Tower Hill policy information and leadership skills.
- Coordinates and facilitates internship program with successful and measurable teaching outcomes to enhance and increase visibility for Tower Hill as an employer of choice.
- Collaborates and assists HR team members on projects when needed to accomplish HR strategic initiatives or support other key HR operations.
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study preferred.
- A minimum of at least five years in providing formal training instruction as well as a minimum of one year's industry experience. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products with particular emphasis on PowerPoint is important.
- A working knowledge of presentation equipment and media is required.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are required.
- Applicant must be a self-starter able to complete projects and conduct classes with little supervision.
