    Position Details:

    • Location: Maitland, FL (In-Office)
    • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

    As a Multi-Line Claim Associate I in our LevelUP program, you will begin a structured training program tailored to accelerate your professional development. This role entails investigating and assessing 1st and/or 3rd party claims of minimal complexity under close supervision. You will hone critical skills in quick decision-making, time management, and organizational efficiency - essential attributes for success in the insurance field.

    Career Pathways Program: The LevelUP initiative at CCMSI provides a transparent route for advancement. This program comprises 5 phases leading you to progress to a Multi-Line Claim Representative role.

    Responsibilities


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust 1st and/or 3rd party claims of minimal complexity under direct supervision. (Not to exceed 50 claims)
    • Establish reserves and/or provide reserve recommendations within established authority levels under direct supervision.
    • Set up designated claim files and complete all set up instructions, as requested.
    • As appropriate, make referrals to outside vendors on designated cases under direct supervision.
    • Review and approve related legal, damage estimates, and miscellaneous invoices on designated claims.
    • Efficient and timely coordination of communication with clients, claimants, and other relevant parties throughout the claim adjustment process.
    • Authorize and make payments on claims utilizing a claim payment program following industry standards and within established authority levels under direct supervision.
    • Summarize all correspondence, damage estimates, and claims-related documents in claim log notes.
    • Review and maintain personal diary on claim system.
    • Provide technical and clerical claims support to designated clients, as requested.
    • Adherence to corporate claim standards and specific client handling instructions.
    • Act as a back-up to designated adjusters when necessary.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    This position is part of the LevelUP Career Pathway Program, an internal career training program aimed at preparing individuals for a Multi-Line Claims Representative I position. To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and characteristics:

    Long-term ambition to work in insurance as an adjuster. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability in independent critical thinking. Proficient in coordinating and prioritizing tasks with excellent time management. Capable of operating general office equipment and performing clerical duties. Must possess flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Discretion and confidentiality are essential. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Consistent and dependable attendance within client service hours for this role.

    Response to internal and external client needs promptly.

    The ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing both internally and externally.

    Education and/or Experience

    • Associate's degree or two years of related business experience.
    • Commitment and openness to learning roles with increasing decision-making authority and responsibilities.

    Computer Skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    • Must pass Adjuster license exam as required for the respective jurisdiction(s) within the first 60 days of employment.
