Description
Our client is one of the fastest growing general contractors in Chicago. Consistently proves their industry value with a portfolio of high quality and abundance of exciting projects. Prepare work to be estimated by gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
Help acquire construction subcontractors to include in building process.
Interact with construction subcontractors and component suppliers such as concrete, steel, joist, precast and masonry.
Assist with managing relationships with project owners as required, including the oversight of meetings with both partners and senior project managers.
5+ years experience in construction with General Contractor preferred.~Minimum Bachelor's Degree in construction related discipline.
~ Experience with the bidding process: soliciting bids, communicating with bidders, evaluating subcontractor proposals, using bid tally sheets, etc.
~ Experience in using Estimating software.
