• Interpret and follow construction plans and blueprints
• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of masonry
• Measure and cut materials to ensure a precise fit
• Construct chimneys, corners, arches, walls, and other structures
• Repair and maintain existing masonry structures, especially chimneys
• Lay bricks or stones in patterns or designs according to plans or specifications
• Align structures using plumb lines, levels, and other tools
• Keep accurate records of work performed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

• Proficient in masonry techniques
• Operate equipment relevant to masonry work
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Knowledge of construction estimating for material requirements
• Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship

• Must be able to communicate in and read English
• Spanish speaking a plus, but not required
• Must have reliable transportation to Morton Grove every day
• Must work at heights and lift heavy objects
• Must be physically fit enough to stand for long periods
