HOSPITALIST SERVICES
Four-five physicians, one APP daily, seven days on/ seven days off; one swing shift APP, seven days on/seven off; to 7:00 p.m.
for day APP & MD; for swing APP, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. OBSERVATION SERVICES~ 10-bed unit
~ Unit runs adjacent to ED
~ EPIC EMR
~16-hour coverage and overnight ED physician coverage
~ Units close proximity to ED is a benefit to having on-site physician backup and ease of consultation/collaboration
