    Why this job ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

    Join a reputable PE real estate investment firm as their Accounting Manager. This pivotal position within the finance team entails close collaboration with the Controller. As the Accounting Manager, you will spearhead the full spectrum of accounting functions, guaranteeing precision, adherence to regulations, and operational efficacy in fund and property accounting. Responsibilities include analyzing reports and records, assessing quarterly and annual financial statements, coordinating with external auditors, overseeing cash flow, and ensuring operational compliance.

    What You'll Actually Do:

    • Review and analyze all materials from fund administrators, including quarterly financial reports, management fees, and capital notifications.
    • Supervise and evaluate all corporate accounting procedures, including Travel & Expense management and Accounts Payable
    • Prepare the quarterly corporate financial reports in compliance with GAAP
    • Stay current on all accounting matters related to the firm's assets and entities
    • Oversee and track necessary accounting-related reports and deadlines for external entities
    • Manage treasury operations, including proposing capital calls and distributions
    • Lead project management efforts for period-end financial statement reporting, year-end audit, and tax compliance

    To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting CPA preferred
    • 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience
    • Public audit experience is required
    • Experience working in Fund Administration or Private Equity is needed
    • Real estate accounting or property accounting is a plus
    • High level of integrity
    • Dependable, ability to dive in and take ownership
    • Advanced Excel

    Where and How Much:

    • Target Compensation up to $120K + 5-10% Bonus
    • 100% in office Downtown LoDo area
