We are currently seeking a Head of Accounting and Tax (m/f/d) for our client, a medium-sized traditional company located in the Nuremberg region.

This is a direct hire position, available immediately, and can be either part-time or full-time.

Responsibilities:

Review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
Income statement and balance sheet preparation, balance sheet consolidation
Tax reporting (VAT preregistration, payroll tax registration, capital tax registration, business tax reporting, and capital income tax return)
Preparation of tax returns
Internal accounting; cost and performance accounting
Financial planning, liquidity planning, and cash management
Statistics, statistical reporting
Preparation of reports, reporting, and conducting controlling tasks
Planning and implementation of digitalization measures
Process optimization/automation of accounting processes
Contact person for banks, leasing companies, insurance companies, tax consultants, economic and business audits, IT service providers
Professional management of the commercial department with three employees

Requirements:

Successfully completed training as a tax clerk (m/f/d), possibly with additional qualification as a tax specialist (m/f/d)
Alternatively: certified accountant (m/f/d) with indepth tax knowledge
