    The CHA laboratory at Cambridge Hospital provides a wide range of medical tests and services, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

    Summary:

    Working under the direct supervision of the Lab Director and Associate Pathologist, you will assist in the preparation of surgical specimens and other duties to maintain the efficiency and safety of the Pathology Department.

    Degree in biomedical or health sciences is preferred.

    Certification:

    Current certification as a Pathologist's Assistant through the American Society for Clinical Pathology is required and must be maintained throughout employment.


    Experience:
    New certified graduates are welcome, however, preference is given to those with 3 or more years of experience in a clinical pathology setting. Familiarity with voice recognition and pathology computer systems is a plus.

    Minimum Job Qualifications:
    - Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
    - Understanding of Universal precautions, chemical safety guidelines, and basic laboratory safety.
    - Proficiency in gross pathology.
    - Fluency in the English language.
    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
