    Description

As the Retail Media Intern you will play a critical role in helping the retail media team deliver outstanding results to our brand partners and assist with day to day account maintenance and strategy.

    Position: Brand Management Intern

    Position Description:

    We are seeking a Brand Management Intern to assist with managing various tasks across advertising/marketing, operations management, marketplace strategy etc. In this role you will support the Brand Management team across the full scope of tasks related to building, launching, optimizing & reporting on display & search campaigns as well as our clients marketplace business and retail operations as it relates to digital marketplaces. You will report to the Associate Director, Brand Management to prioritize tasks and must be able to balance multiple projects simultaneously while remaining organized and executing with high standards.

    This is a part-time role (~20-25 hrs per week) working in-person at the Macarta Global Headquarters located in Denver, CO. Working materials (laptop / monitors / etc.) will be provided.

    Full-time & part-time employment opportunities are available after the internship.

    Responsibilities:

    Brand Management Support

    • Derive actionable insights and take-aways by analyzing internal client reporting to be shared with Brand Manager ahead of weekly or bi-weekly client calls
    • Support Brand Manager with any troubleshooting needs, support ticket creation and follow-ups
    • Compile, organize, and build presentations to aid in all QBRs or otherwise larger client-meetings / presentations
    • Work with Brand Manager and Director of Brand Management to develop and drive strategy for Macarta brand partners
    • Prepare and build media plans, insertion orders and other planning documents for Brand Manager and Director of Brand Management to be presented to clients
    • Hands-on support for Amazon operational tasks (eg Shipping plans; product regulation/compliance documentation, etc.)

    Task Management and Cross-Functional Coordination

    • Organize, manage, update advertising budget tracking documents which are shared with clients
    • Organize, manage, update internal Troubleshooting Trackers
    • Utilize internal project management software (Asana) to coordinate tasks & manage deadlines for Macarta support teams (Paid Search, Display, Creative, Analytics)
    • Assist the Brand Manager with cross-department project management by ensuring deadlines are met, and developing the client-specific acumen to implement a Quality Check prior to any project being delivered to Brand Manager and/or brand partner

    Research and Information Gathering

    • Keep a pulse on Macarta brand partners' activities on and off of Amazon and relay those back to Brand Manager (e.g. earned media features; client or industry-relevant news alerts/articles, etc.)
    • Keyword research and organization to inform SEO, Advertising and broader initiatives
    • Proactively scan clients' listings on Amazon for detailed page structural issues (incorrect titles; broken-variations; incorrect/jumbled bullet points; missing imagery/content, etc.)
    • Cultivate positive professional relationships with clients, vendors and internal teams
    • Ad-hoc projects as requested by Brand Manager / Associate Director of Brand Management

    Requisites:

    • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint competency
    • Creative thinker and ability to think 'outside the box' regarding how to best position branded products within search environment
    • Proven track-record of ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, able to thrive in an autonomous work environment.
    • Excellent organization and communication skills.
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to shine in a results-driven environment.
    • Minimum 1 Year full-time / part-time or internship experience with an Agency or within an eCommerce company
    • Experience working with/for a Professional Amazon Seller or Vendor is a significant plus.

    Compensation:

    Salary: $18.50/ Hourly

    Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
