    Description

    The Enterprise Technology Core Systems and Platforms (CSP) team leads the planning, implementation, and sustainment of technologies supporting seamless and unique experiences for The Walt Disney Company. Workforce Technology team (WFT) is part of the CSP team and focuses specifically on supporting the HR function.

    The WFT group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within the workforce technology team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in driving project success by providing leadership, direction, and strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle. This role presents the opportunity to manage complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to cutting-edge workforce technology solutions. The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the direction and implementation of a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with department strategy, commitments, and goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects within the workforce technology domain, ensuring adherence to project timelines, scope, and budget.
    • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, and develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • Communicate project goals, progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to key stakeholders.
    • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing contingency plans.
    • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and alignment through regular meetings and status updates.
    • Drive cross-functional collaboration and coordination, ensuring seamless integration of project deliverables.
    • Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and analyze project data to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Champion project management best practices within the organization.
    • Mentor and coach junior project management staff.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of managing complex projects within the workforce technology domain, with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience in project planning, execution, monitoring, and control, utilizing project management methodologies and tools.
    • Understanding of workforce management concepts, systems, and technologies.
    • Ability to drive results and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
    • Problem-solving skills and business acumen focusing on delivering value.
    • Experience with HCM and SuccessFactors is preferred.

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field; PMP certification preferred.

    The hiring range for this position in California is $123,902 - $166,210 per year. The base pay offered will consider internal equity, geographic region, job-related knowledge, and experience. Additional compensation such as bonus and benefits is dependent on the level offered. Sr. Project Manager
