- Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, drafting, estimating, and quality control.
- Coordinate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure that they adhere to project specifications and timelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide leadership and direction to project team members, including foremen, laborers, and other construction personnel.
- Foster a culture of safety on the job site and enforce company policies and procedures related to health and safety.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and communicate with clients and subcontractors.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
