JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an Assistant Project Superintendent at Wm.

Erath & Son, you will help support all activities at the jobsite including access, scheduling, deliveries, logistics, safety, quality and construction.

You will contribute to the development and evolution of the project plan, and help facilitate the efficient execution of a project from pre-construction through closeout.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Participate in preconstruction scheduling, logistics and planning
• Assist in creating and modify project schedules, providing additional insights on weekly guidance and rationale for contingencies
• Join onsite reviews with General Contractors to better understand scope and required coordination for a job
• Perform field measurements, communicating results and quantities to the project team
• Reinforce communications of project milestones and schedules to Foremen and other project participants
• Help arrange manpower allocation for projects
• Coordinate schedules with other trades to ensure maximum productivity
• Serve as one of the company's representatives at project meetings
• Coordinate with project management to ensure timely completion of change orders
• Assist in the management of multiple projects of various size and complexity
• Help maintain and manage safety culture and OSHA standards
• Promote teamwork and open communication at the jobsite
• Aid in recognizing and resolving onsite challenges and issues
• Ensure Wm. Erath & Son quality standards are met for all projects

Requirements:

• Experience supporting field operations including scheduling, quality control and coordination among General Contractors and onsite trades
• Selfdirected, extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Conscientious and flexible, with a strong work ethic and positive, teamfirst attitude
• Highly motivated with proven skills in time management and prioritization
• Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people

Relevant Experience: 1-3 years (preferred)


Location:
Primary responsibilities are at jobsites typically in New York City. Travel required.

$50, $82,000.00 per year
