Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to manage and enhance relationships with one of our crucial clients and drive growth with carrier accounts in Puerto Rico and/or relevant territories.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the key client for strategic planning to continually improve client results.
Negotiate contracts with the client and establish a timeline of performance.
Communicate with the client to understand and address their needs.
Develop a solid and trusting relationship with the key client and the company's indirect channels, leveraging the Samsung brand in the region.
Collaborate with internal departments such as Marketing, SCM, and Logistics.Resolve complaints and monitor processes related to client requests.
Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives to team members and stakeholders.
Monitor OEM market share, targeting sell-in to achieve desired results.
Forecast and follow up on sell-through & sell-out progress periodically.
Monitor and update the internal system to ensure timely reflection of demand following company guidelines.
Process incoming purchase orders accurately and efficiently for the assigned client.
Review and verify purchase order information to ensure compliance with internal system and process requirements until order completion.
Create and track sales orders and allocate orders effectively by RTF (Return-To-Forecast).
Keep track and maintain records related to the client, including purchase orders, sales orders, emails, etc.
Handle other assignments as needed.
Skillset / Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
Four to five years of previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience.
Bilingual:
English - Spanish.
Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal relationship skills.
Proven results in delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Goal-oriented, organized team player, self-motivated, and self-directed.
Analytical skills to interpret data and sales statistics for better solutions.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to follow through on client contracts.
Approximately 25% travel required, including visits to Puerto Rico and/or Central America.
