    ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:
    Non rotating 40 hour work week. Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.

    Responsibilities


    Enters arrest data into the departments record management system from source documents such as arrest reports, general citations and FBI/DPS rap sheets.

    Enters supplemental offense reports into the departmental record management system. Consolidates and/or merges duplicate arrest files and records. Files arrest reports, disposition reports and other criminal history documents in the departments arrest jackets. Expunging and deleting records in accordance court orders and departmental policies. Requires communication with district courts and district clerks. Requires clear verbal and written communication skills. Answers routine telephone inquiries and assists the public with routine direction or information. Performs receptionist's duties and various other office duties such as faxing documents, mailing documents and making copies. Enters and maintains payroll information for the Division. Requires simple arithmetic reasoning skills and the ability to analyze data when dealing with numeric transactions. Must perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications


    Work requires a High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of directly related experience or a combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

    Must be able to pass a background check.

    Basis of Rating

    Panel interview.

    Selected applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test.

    This position is classified as "Safety Sensitive".

    All employees in safety sensitive positions are subject to random drug testing, pursuant to City policy, HR 15.0 Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
