    Description

    The Manager of Enterprise Content & Records Management will be responsible for strategies, programs, policies, and key projects governing how LCCU manages its corporate documents, records, and other valuable information leveraging the Synergy ECM platform. Provides overall strategy and technical development and integration services to business teams to ensure integration seamlessly into LCCU's infrastructure, providing a secure, central hub that supports virtually all types of electronic information, including reports, scanned images, PDFs, photos, sound files, and even application documents like Microsoft Office Word and Excel files.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manages the configuration and administration of electronic content management systems to ensure optimal performance and usability.
    • Designs and implements metadata and controlled vocabulary standards to ensure consistency and accuracy in record descriptions.
    • Serves as technical expert with the Synergy Enterprise Content Management environment.
    • Manages the ongoing maintenance and updates of metadata and controlled vocabularies to reflect evolving business needs.
    • Acts as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to content management systems.
    • Collaborates with IT teams to implement system enhancements and updates in line with information management requirements.
    • Works closely with IT and business integration teams to assess the impact of new information systems/technologies on records and content management.
    • Implements security measures to safeguard company records from unauthorized access or modification.
    • Collaborates with business representatives on strategic initiatives to enhance records and content management practices.
    • Provides expert guidance and support to business representatives on records and content management best practices.
    • Provides expert guidance on integrating information management requirements into IT strategies and initiatives.
    • Designs and implements policies and workflows for the secure and timely destruction of expired records and low-value content.
    • Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for record disposition.
    • Collaborates with stakeholders to streamline the destruction authorization process and minimize risk.
    • Provides training and support to users on Synergy ECM functionalities and best practices. Acts as a resource for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Synergy ECM.
    • Participates in financial services user groups to stay updated on industry trends and developments.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university foreign equivalent degree; at least eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience working with complex IT infrastructures.
    • Minimum 8-10 years of overall experience in business and/or technology with financial services preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of broad experience operating records and enterprise content management lifecycle involving content management software applications, including understanding the entire business process chain and significant involvement in program implementations.
    • Three plus years of supervisory experience in a midsize financial services organization is preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience installing, upgrading, enhancing, and supporting various large-scale administrative applications, including ECM software (Jack Henry Synergy preferred).
    • Experience with industry-standard programming or scripting languages, including the coding/deployment of Rest APIs, and experience in the utilization of Regular Expressions.
    • Must be able to work in a collaborative, on-site work environment, including participation in unscheduled discussions and troubleshooting on an as-needed basis.
    • Team player who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Able to travel to other locations throughout the state as needed.
    • Effective communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to build positive relationships across teams.
    • Experience working in and contributing to a team-oriented and collaborative environment that values positive, collegial relationships among co-workers.
    • Ability to manage time with strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
    • Proven ability to solve problems creatively and proactively.
    • Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently.
