    Overview

    The Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit (10 Tower) at Atrium Health is a 36-bed unit that caters to a diverse patient population with various medical conditions like sepsis, liver failure, respiratory infections, and more. Teamwork and a culture of respect and accountability are highly encouraged.

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for direct patient care and assisting with daily operations
    • Support the manager in enhancing nursing practice and service delivery
    • Participate in staff meetings and communicate effectively with the team
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations
    • Supervise nursing personnel and delegate tasks appropriately
    • Assist in evaluating patient outcomes and care quality
    • Administer treatments and medications as necessary
    • Help with patient flow management and staffing

    Physical Requirements
    Walking, standing, lifting, and critical thinking abilities are necessary for this role. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

    Education, Experience and Certifications

    Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN licensure required. Previous nursing experience preferred. BSN required. Current Basic Life Support certification needed. Professional certification required within one year of eligibility.
