- Key metrics include PSM compliance, alarm performance, control scheme implementation, and control loops in normal mode.
- Technical evaluations or process issues to continuously improve the safety, reliability, and business performance of the refinery operations.
- Alarm management software development and implementation
- Alarm rationalization
- OMS blending controls
- The Process Control Engineer provides data analysis reports for refinery operational issues including recommendations for resolutions.
- Customized three-year rotational schedule at assigned US site with the opportunity to visit other US sites.

About this opportunity
Cenovus's New Grad Program aims to attract, develop, and retain exceptional new grads to build a top talent pipeline for the company. The program provides new grads with a broad understanding of Cenovus's core business through challenging work assignments, training and development, field exposure and the opportunity to develop a large network of contacts through networking and mentorship opportunities.
Our Program consists of three consecutive 12-month rotational assignments that span the US Cenovus's varied business areas. Rotational future assignments could include Process Engineer, Environmental, PSM, I&E reliability, Optimization & Coordination engineering.
Upon completion of the three-year program, you will be matched to a permanent role within the organization. This role will be based on business needs and relocation may be required.
Responsibilities
As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
