- Performing design calculations, preparing plans, and directing schematic designs for TxDOT and local government projects.
- Using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices.
- Interacting with task leaders, team members, clients, and other consultants.
- Exercising judgment in independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Working in a clients office to further a client program
- Team lunches/breakfasts and social activities
- Effective communication skills to engage with others.
- Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer
- 5+ years of experience with MicroStation, Geopak (or Open Roads) and TxDOT procedures
- Experience with MicroStation ORD
- Experience with Large Scale TxDOT Projects
- Technical Training Experience
- Experience working in public hearings, or public meetings
