Planning Engineer for Major Projects (m/f/d) We are looking for you for the Civil Engineering Department of the State Capital Stuttgart.

The position is permanent.

The Department of Roads and Traffic of the Civil Engineering Department of the State Capital Stuttgart is responsible for the planning of all public roads, paths and squares.

Our goal is to develop solutions that meet the challenges of climate change and promote pedestrian and bicycle traffic. As a Planning Engineer, you have the opportunity to actively shape these public transport areas. Let's work together to make our livable city future-proof.


Your main tasks:

You are responsible for the planning, management and project management of major projects and investor measures in the public road space.

The implementation of innovative projects, taking into account climate-friendly construction, is also part of your responsibilities. You take on the responsibility for client tasks and represent the city's interests towards third parties. You coordinate and develop plans together with specialist planners and other departments. You are responsible for reporting in internal and external committees, as well as for commissioning and supervising specialist planners. As deputy head of department, you support the professional management of the team.


Your profile:
