Description

The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering firms in Germany.

Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.

We are currently looking for you as a project engineer for infrastructure measures (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at our location in Stuttgart, starting as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

  • You are responsible for planning and execution within the budget, ensuring that it is completed on time and with the required quality (focus on structural engineering with traffic facilities, but also potentially accompanying signal, telecommunications, and electrical engineering works)
  • You are responsible for the operational management of project participants from the planning and construction supervision departments, and the client teams with the support of the project management, if necessary
  • You proactively handle claim and anticlaim management
  • You use financial resources in the project in a timely, budgetfriendly, and efficient manner
  • You comply with legal and company regulations for occupational health and safety and environmental protection
  • You are responsible for awarding contracts in collaboration with the corporate procurement department, such as planning, construction, and expert contracts, and actively manage stakeholders
  • You calculate, coordinate, and control the budget for awarding contracts,
