    LHH is partnering with a dynamic financial services company committed to excellence, growth, and fostering a supportive work environment to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist.     Position Overview: As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our client's finance team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting various financial tasks. This role offers the opportunity for professional growth, a flexible schedule, and the chance to contribute to the success of our organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process over 300 invoices weekly utilizing various payment methods such as check, ACH, and wire transfers.
    • Reconcile vendor statements monthly to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
    • Prepare accounts payable reports and assist with month-end close activities.
    • Generate journal entries and accruals to accurately reflect financial transactions.
    • Collaborate on special projects as assigned, contributing to process improvements and efficiency.
    • Support the yearly audit process by providing necessary documentation and assistance as required.

    Requirements:

    • Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting.
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Professional demeanor with a keen business acumen and attention to detail.
