    About the job

    BTB Los Angeles is looking for a Technical Designer who will play a pivotal role in bringing our design concepts to life. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure that our garments meet the highest standards of fit, construction, and quality. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in transforming design ideas into tangible, wearable fashion.

    You will:

    • Collaborate with lead designer to develop initial designs, tech packs, and technical garment specifications to determine proper fit and construction
    • Ensure that samples accurately reflect design concepts and specs
    • Be able to make corrections and following up with vendors if needed
    • Fitting graded specs and approving fabric quality for production
    • Clearly communicate design and construction details to production teams
    • Identify any construction of fit issues throughout the manufacturing process
    • Stay updated on industry trends, new materials and construction techniques
    • Recommend innovative solutions to enhance product quality and efficiency

    You have:

    • A degree in Apparel/Design/Manufacturing
    • 4-6 years experience in apparel technical designs
    • Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
    • Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, silhouettes, grading, sewing techniques, fabrication and trim; familiarity with manufacturing
    • Experience with overseas factories
    • Very skilled at full package who wants to excel into a contemporary apparel collection
    • Strong project management, prioritization, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
