    We currently have an opportunity for a Material Control Coordinator.

    This person will be an integral part of the Supply Chain team, verifying and maintaining excellent records on inventory and incoming merchandise or materials.

    You'll be working mainly in the warehouse area of the facility, communicating constantly with your team, Production, and Engineering throughout the life of projects.

    ResponsibilitiesWorks directly with team members within Warehouse, Incoming Inspection, Quality Control, Purchasing, Production and Engineering to complete the daily activities of this position.

    Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods using conventional inventory control methodsUtilize documents such as pick sheets, work orders or shipping orders to properly route products and materials to the assigned locations.

    Confer or correspond with internal customers and supplier representatives to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, or non-conformance to specificationsIssue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions and system generated reports or work instructionsVerify system inventory accuracy by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errorsTracking and control of customer and government property to ensure compliance with contract specifications or legal requirements through bin boxing and cycle countingAssist in the review and control of manufactured or processed products to ensure compliance with contract specifications or legal requirementsAdvises management team on any materials issues within the warehouse environmentCompletion of other assigned duties that fall within a normal warehouse operation's activitiesMust be able to work the following shift: Mon-Fri 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

    Ideal Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of directly related experienceMUST have experience in aerospace manufacturing or similar hi-tech environments involving materials handling and controlExperience with inventory control accuracy, inventory management rules, and inventory management systemsKnowledgeable with Government property administration is highly preferredGood Math skills and being able to solve complex problemsUS Citizen or US Person as defined by ITAR regulationsDesired SkillsTime Management skills while working within a fast paced, highly creative work place.

    Functioning in a highly professional environment while completing all assigned inventory control activitiesJudgement and decision-making skills are critical in setting self-directed priorities and work schedulesPay Range$22 - $32/ hourHow We Determine What We Pay (Compensation Philosophy)Redwire determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for our locations throughout the US.

    We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index, in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.

    For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant's level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills.

    Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position.

    An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will be considered for higher pay.
