    Perry Custom Homes is a high-end Custom Home Builder in the Milton/Alpharetta, GA area. We are looking to add another team member to our work family to manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the company. Excellent communication, problem solving, and managerial skills are required in dealing with multiple ongoing projects, sub-contractors, vendors and staff. The individual will be responsible for streamlining administrative procedures and assisting with the bookkeeping for the company. They will work closely with the Operations Manager and Owner of the company to ensure a streamlined operation.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    · Bookkeeping (using QuickBooks and BuilderTrend), accounts payable and accounts receivable

    · Process draw requests and change orders

    · Manage contracts

    · Assisting with estimates

    · Permitting with multiple municipalities

    · Subcontractor information management

    · Answering the office phone and directing calls

    · Filing and keeping the office organized

    · Manage mail and services

    · Manage office supplies and equipment

    · Maintain the construction management software (BuilderTrend and BlueBeam)

    · Assist the Operations Manager and Owner with administrative tasks

    · Provide administrative support to the management team

    · Create & manage electronic project documents such as contracts, plans and specification sheets

    · Greet visitors

    · Manage deliveries


    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    Candidate must have at least 3 years experience in small business bookkeeping and 5 years experience in a construction company environment.
    · Proven accounting experience

    · Home building experience

    · Knowledge of homebuilding terms and procedures

    · Highly proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office

    · Experience working with BuilderTrend and BlueBeam (or similar construction management software)

    · Detail oriented

    · Good judgement and strong ethics

    · Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently

    · Work well with others in a small team environment

    · Flexibility to do other tasks to assist others in the company

    · Organizational aptitude to manage multiple tasks

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    · Commute to work in the company office daily – this is not a remote position

    · Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not necessary if experience is commensurate
