Job DescriptionAvery Partners is looking for a Practice Administrator for an Internal Medicine practice in Sandy Springs, GA. This office has 4 providers and 10 total employees (1 location). The position will be full time Mon-Fri 8-5pm. The practice sees approximately patients a day.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical office which include check-in/out, insurance verification, referrals, prior authorizations, managing administrative staff, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Ensure timely contracting, credentialing, and licensing renewals.
Take the lead in staff interviewing/hiring/training and developing employees and HR-related functions
Provide direction and oversight of handling patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints, providing excellent customer service and addressing issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
3+ years' experience in managing Medical Office. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Strong Medical Billing and Coding experience is required. Experience with EMR.
Strong knowledge of medical office operations, strong understanding of bookkeeping and employee benefits, payroll, expense control.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
