    Description

    Established company to hire tenured Site Superintendent for Commercial Solar Projects

    Job Description:

    • Analyze plans, construction contract specifications, terms and conditions, and relevant building codes to determine project requirements
    • Function as the primary on-site leader and manage execution teams, including all subcontractors, on assigned projects
    • Evaluate the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes
    • Conduct pre-mobilization work to include assisting in the development of the: safety plan, construction schedule, logistic plan, BOS take off and staffing assessment
    • Communicate expectations to subcontractors and vendors
    • Ensure safety per OSHA guidelines and quality control across all aspects of the project
    • Manage risks and establish project recovery plans when required
    • Resolve disputes with minimal need for escalation
    • Oversee project construction for compliance with specifications, local codes, and installation techniques
    • Participate in job site final walk-thru and manage the completion of all closeout documentation such as As-Built drawings, system operating instructions, and all project records
    • Manage and develop a viable long-term relationship with customers, consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors
    • Effectively communicate project progress and issues to management as required
    • Must be open to travel (about 15% of the time)

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years previous experience in project management and/or construction operations
    • Proficiency in PROCORE construction management software
    • Journeyman electrical level experience preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar) preferred
