    Description
    Realization is seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate.

    The role is primarily focused on investment and transactional execution activities along with some limited business development and sourcing initiatives.


    Specific responsibilities include:

    evaluating technology business models and markets, analyzing financial statements, valuing technology businesses and equity positions within them, building and working with complex waterfall financial models, drafting detailed investment committee memorandums, and running comparable analyses.

    With regard to business development activities, responsibilities may also include leveraging proprietary and third-party data sources (such as Pitchbook) to create and pursue lists of target funds and senior executives and operating companies as well as helping to manage and focus business development activities firm wide.

    This position will receive significant mentoring from the senior principals and partners of Realization and will be exposed to the full lifecycle of investments made by the firm.


    Realization Capital Partners is a private equity firm managing approximately half a billion in committed capital that pursues both secondary and primary direct investments in technology businesses.

    Realization's principals have technology focused operating and finance backgrounds that span 11 CEO or Co-Founder roles, core roles through multiple IPOs and over 100 closed technology focused M&A transactions as principals or advisors.

    Qualifications:


    Candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree and have one to four years of full-time experience in a finance, investment or strategy consulting-oriented role.


    Candidates with the following characteristics are highly preferred:

    An undergraduate degree from a leading university with a strong GPA in a challenging technical or mathematical major, strong team player, strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, excellent references, high level of attention-to-detail, deep experience building Excel models and PowerPoint presentations and a strong understanding of financial concepts, valuation, and accounting.

    Candidates with prior experience in investment banking or private equity strongly preferred.
