- You will manage a geographical sales territory targeting local, regional, and national corrugated prospects to establish a continuous sales relationship.
- You will develop and follow a strategic sales growth plan to align with established sales and profit objectives.
- You will make regular sales calls to existing and potential customers within the assigned territory.
- You will continuously and actively seek new clients and close prospective businesses while maintaining these various sales cycles in parallel.
- You will need to effectively manage your time and leverage all available resources to attain and meet and exceed sales expectations.
- You will need to build business networks to enhance and promote the Hood Container brand.
- You will manage and follow pricing guidelines aligned with established local and company sales budgets and objectives.
- You will build relationships and gain the trust of your customers to understand their needs and strategically work toward a solution to resolve their challenges.
- You will continuously learn new techniques by establishing and expanding your knowledge of paper/packaging/display solutions and the corrugated industry.
- You will be responsible for meeting your budgetary weekly, monthly, and quarterly expectations and sales goals set by the Sales Manager, General Manager, and Sr. Sales Leadership.
- Experience within a similar role with a track record of turning leads into actual sales.
- At least 5 years working within the corrugated industry.
- Ability to manage accounts of all sizes and all types (brown box, graphic packaging, etc.).
- Driven mindset with strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Demonstration of dynamic communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with all types of personalities.
- Adaptability is key as you will need to navigate and demonstrate flexibility in an environment that can be ambiguous and uncertain.

- General high level of enthusiasm, creativity, and innovative ability.
