    industry. They seek a

    Director of Accounting

    to oversee 4 direct reports. CPA is required with at least 7 years' accounting experience. ERP and Payroll knowledge is essential.

    What you will be doing:
    Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to assure goals are met/exceeded in operations, human resources, and sales
    Responsible for hiring, training, development, performance evaluation, functional development and disciplinary action

    Responsible for all accounting operations:
    payroll, cash receipts and disbursements, AP, fixed assets, GL account reconciliation, journal entries and analysis of financial reports
    Conduct administrative and accounting activities in a cost-effective manner
    Direct preparation and review monthly GL and financial reports
    Ensure all reports accurately reflect financial health
    Develop the department administrative budget
    Lead preparation of the company's annual budget
    Coordinate preparation for annual financial audit
    Ensure audit is performed according to schedule without deficiencies, major adjustments or cost overruns

    What you need to qualify:

    7+ years' general accounting experience to include balance sheet management, and financial statement preparation
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; MBA is preferred
    Real Estate, Senior Living and/or Healthcare experience is a plus
    Knowledge of GAAP and hands-on experience with automated accounting systems
    Working knowledge of healthcare operations and Medicare reimbursement practices is a plus
    Proficient in MS Office and payroll software; familiarity with ADP, JD Edwards and Achieve Matrix a plus.
    CPA is required
