Your role at Sephora:


As the Sephora Collection Account Director, North America, you are responsible for overseeing the high level brand strategy and management of Sephora Collection throughout the North American region (Sephora USA, Sephora Canada, and Sephora at Kohls).

This role is critical to optimizing brand priorities and presentation through every touchpoint.

You'll do this in partnership and collaboration with the Sephora Collection global team in Paris, the North America Sephora Merchandising and Marketing teams, and the Sephora Collection North American brand team.

You will be accountable to manage a team, setting direction to meet business objectives and deploying resources.


In addition, you will:

  • Define, customize, and communicate brand strategies for the North American market that support the brand's global priorities and those of the retailer
  • Foster and own positive and productive relationships with cross functional partners globally and throughout the North American region
  • Maintain the highest level of business knowledge and insights. Provide regular updates to executive leadership. Adapt strategies based on business results, trends, and opportunities.
  • Communicate and gain support and buy in to the brand's global strategic vision with business partners
  • Partner with global team on assortment, pricing, brand expression, and visual merchandising strategies
  • Own negotiation of the total Sephora Collection North America sales budgets, informing global partners along the journey
  • Ensure top line sales targets are achieved throughout North America, while maximizing profitability by controlling expenses in line with established budgets.
  • Establish retail prices that align to global direction to maintain, or grow margin
  • Maximize investments in terms of sampling, gratis, and other support from the global team.
  • Manage the assortments to maximize sales and limit inventory liabilities for both newness and the core product portfolio
  • Identify opportunities to improve and maintain the overall inventory health, including creating plans to address overstocks and discontinues
  • Ensure the visual merchandising reflects the brand values, image, and is consistent with global brand standards.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting to leaders and executive teams
  • Monitor and communicate retailer and industry trends, identify white space opportunities for the brand, and advocate for North American product requests from the retailer with the global team
  • Serve as key member of the North American Sephora Collection brand team, providing input and insights into key brand decisions
  • Represent the brand with the ability to flex to a wide variety of settings ranging from executive meetings to informal working sessions with business partners
  • Address unmet needs and opportunities with global partners in a firm, yet respectful manner that preserves and enhances the relationship
  • Actively support, direct, coach, and develop direct reports; ensuring each direct report has a personalized development plan in place.
