    **A Day in the Life as a Branch Manager**

    As a Branch Manager, you ensure that your branch operates by Kohler Credit Union's standard of high-energy, world-class service and reaches specific sales and service goals.

    You are primarily responsible for the direct supervision of the branch's day-to-day operations.. You are the rock that your branch team depends on for consistent support.

    Much of your time is spent coaching and mentoring the front line staff. You hire, train, and promote teamwork among employees. You uphold a strong sales and service culture within the branch. You and your frontline staff build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing members that lead to referrals. You also spend some time each day helping to resolve complex technical and operational problems that arise.

    You are a coach, a problem solver, and a communicator. You spend most of your day interacting with people, both employees and members. You ensure that procedures have been followed and all branch transactions are balanced at the close of each day. You get great satisfaction out of keeping your branch's daily operations running smoothly and efficiently so that our members receive the best possible service.

    **Qualifications**

    + Bachelor's Degree

    + Prior experience working at a financial institution

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    + Knowledge of intermediate math (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)

    + Strong knowledge of credit union products and services

    + Knowledge of federal and state regulations relating to credit union operations

    + Ability and willingness to obtain notary certification
