The Role The Project Manager is the primary single point of contact for large-scale deployments with significant complexity, unique requirements or that qualify as a 'Special'. Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the customer's implementation to meet scope, timing and budget expectations and overall project outcomes. This role participates in and leads the completion of complex solutions to meet customer needs & is engaged according to PMO criteria and standards. You will need expertise in how a corporate communication function works, and experience in planning and directing how and where we tell the Lumen story to our audiences. You will coordinate and facilitate project meetings, track/manage action items, and verify they are incorporated into the program schedule and that deliverables are met on time. Additionally, you will be responsible for assessing and managing risk, impacts, and potential alternatives and escalating as required to the appropriate level of management. In this role, we'll look to you to help monitor the communications deliverables from the team, track metrics and measure the engagement of our content with target audiences. You'll need to be a quick study and be able to understand the Lumen business strategy and help the communications team deliver value to the business. You must have excellent project management and communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment, possess strong process orientation, the ability to learn new technology quickly and help others. This is a work from home opportunity within the United States. The Main Responsibilities + Develop, plan and manage implementation of activities for highly complex projects/programs for external/internal customers throughout their lifecycle + Analyze work plans, schedules and develop project progress and status reports, responsible for resource requirements/allocation + Coordinate and facilitate project meetings + Develop and distribute timely meeting minutes, to include track/manage action items and verify they are incorporated into the program schedule and that deliverables are met on time + Assess/Manage risk, impacts and potential alternatives and escalate as required to the appropriate level of management + Set program objectives and establish clear measures to successfully define and meet project deliverables and timelines and track schedule changes + Act as a mentor/project team leader by holding accountability for successful overall project completion and delivery + Through cross-functional partnership, define Key Performance Indicators (KPI), training, process standards, policies, and procedures + Reiterate scope, roles/responsibilities and schedule and provide team members a single point of contact for all project issues + Conduct an initial 'project intake' meeting with the client to determine goals and retrieve additional, vital information that the team needs to execute creative and create a successful project/campaign + Organize and manage corporate communication campaigns from intake and refinement to execution and delivery across internal, external, social media, and creative channels + Monitor and maintain our project tracking systems on a day-to-day basis, including the corporate communication campaign calendar and creative deliverables + Communicate status and results from our initiatives to the Corporate Communications organization and to key stakeholders across the business What We Look For in a Candidate + BA/BS or equivalent degree + 6+ years of project management experience in Corporate Communications, Marketing, Sales, or other customer-facing business areas. + Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build high-performing project teams that deliver significant business value + Experience in Adobe Workfront project management platform + Strong skills in Microsoft technology products, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. + Self-motivated, able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and clients in parallel in a time sensitive environment + Strong communication skills and ability to creatively approach problem solving Preferred Qualifications + Experience with project management or analytics platforms such as MS Power BI or Tableau a plus + Knowledge of process improvement and project management methodologies such as Six Sigma, Operations Science, SDLC and Agile software development methodologies + Familiarity with campaign metrics and reporting Compensation The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

    Location Based Pay Ranges $ $118028 in these states:
    AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

    $ $124230 in these states:

    AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

    $ $130448 in these states:

    CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

    $ $136665 in these states:

    AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

    As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
