    The National Security Directorate Physical Detection Systems & Deployment Division's Technology Integration (TI) Group is seeking an Associate level Agile Project Manager.

    The TI group applies system integration and technology deployment expertise in support of large programs and complex projects vital to protecting our homeland.

    We collaborate across PNNL to provide impactful solutions that achieve real-world mission objectives in the field.

    Responsibilities In this role, the candidate must demonstrate the following:
    + Ability to lead multiple agile development and testing efforts simultaneously while serving as the scrum master, coaching the team in agile best practices, tailoring agile processes to achieve project objectives, eliminating roadblocks and exemplifying servant leadership to the team. + Partner with Product Owners to align plans to product vision and execute prioritized work scope in support of mission needs. + Proficient use of agile tools including Jira and Confluence. Possess strong working knowledge on scaled agile projects & tailoring agile processes to achieve project results. + Possess a strong working knowledge and understanding of project management principles and industry best practices having demonstrated proficiency with project management systems, tools, and policies. + Possess proven ability to develop and promote effective working relationships with project team and stakeholders. + Be a team player able to work independently in completing tasks on time and within budget with minimal oversight. + Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. + A proficient understanding of Agile methodology and ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies e.g. stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews & retrospectives. + Experience working with product, engineering, and research teams to gather business requirements and balance needs with technical constraints. + Experience managing data analytics or Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects. + Exposure to the intelligence community and Department of Defense.


    Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
    + BS/BA and 5+ years of relevant project management experience OR + MS/MA or higher and 3+ years of relevant project management experience

    Preferred Qualifications:
    + One (1) year of experience with Agile techniques such as User Stories, Backlog Refinement and Prioritization, Requirements Gathering, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, etc. + Advanced knowledge and applied experience utilizing agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.     All Security Clearance positions are Testing Designated Positions, which means that the candidate selected is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.

    In addition, applicants must be able to demonstrate non-use of illegal drugs, including marijuana, for the 12 consecutive months preceding completion of the requisite Questionnaire for National Security Positions (QNSP).


    Note:
    Applicants will be considered ineligible for security clearance processing by the U.S. Department of Energy until non-use of illegal drugs, including marijuana, for 12 months can be demonstrated. Testing Designated Position This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP).

    The candidate selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing for illegal drugs, including marijuana, consistent with the Controlled Substances Act and the PNNL Workplace Substance Abuse Program.
