    Job Description


    This role will be focused on leading our OpenLab Software Framework team - leading a team of predominantly technical marketing owners and product marketing .

    OpenLab software Framework delivers ?Standard software and architectural components? to leverage and accelerate time to market of Agilent software platforms.

    This position will be responsible for driving the framework strategy through their team – driving current needs and driving development for future needs of our customers.

    This position requires someone who enjoys a hands-on role; the successful applicant will be expected to be actively involved in all aspects of the job.


    Responsibilities:
    Having solid understanding of scientific laboratories would be helpful.

    Responsible for the overall operations in organization responsible for design and implementation of product marketing strategies for product line(s) and/or industry segments.

    Develops and implements strategies, customer relationships, and specific programs to achieve business objectives.

    Responsible for leading the development of support strategies for new products and for the resolution and containment of product support critical issues for the business.

    Accountable for metrics related to responsiveness to field and customer issues.
    May have responsibility for developing training strategies for Application Engineers, Field Service Engineers and Remote Support Engineers.
    May manage relationships with third parties, such as vendors and product partners.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent in Science, Data Science or Programming
    1+ years experience formally or informally leading people, projects and/or programs for entry to this level
    3+ years experience formally or informally leading software technical people, projects and/or programs would be needed

    Experience working in a matrixed organization and working across divisional or group boundaries will be a major advantage for this role.

    The US pay range for this full-time position is $160, $250,455.00/yr, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

    The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position across the relevant US locations.

    Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    During the hiring process, a recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for a preferred location.
