    Pay:
    $22.00+


    GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


    The Marketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing the implementation of corporate and customer events and tradeshows that support the goals of the Marketing, HR and Sales departments.

    The Marketing and Events Coordinator will also support various marketing activities that help convey the company's messages to the public as well as its employees.

    This position will have constant communication between various stakeholders and departments to assure initiatives are on schedule and within budgetary limits.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Coordinate all corporate and customer event planning with direction and guidance from multiple departments (HR, Sales, and Marketing)
    Facilitate tradeshows (maintain annual show calendar, book booths and hotel rooms, run point on booth deliverables and sample orders, etc.)
    Maintain inventory of marketing support materials and place orders as needed (clothing, tradeshow supplies, etc.)
    Assess the overall success of an event and report results
    Evaluate costs and shop items to meet budgetary limits established by the department
    Assist with internal and external communications (Good News Friday, Department Spotlight, Screenly, Weekly Market Reports, and Social Media Content)

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelor's degree or in pursuit of a bachelor's degree – preferably in business or marketing
    2-3 years of trade show and/or event experience
    Knowledge with accounting management and event marketing budgeting
    Dropbox, Google tools, Smart Sheets, Hub Spot, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    AND QUALIFICATIONS:
    Strong verbal and written communications skills
    Great attention to detail and exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
    Strong knowledge of event planning, marketing, project management and enthusiasm for creating engaging and memorable experiences
    Ability to drive on company behalf in your personal vehicle (must maintain a clean driving record)
    Candidate must be team oriented and also able to work independently
    Must be a self-starter and undertake projects on their own initiative.
    Competency in web and graphic design
    Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, as necessary for the planning and implementation of events
