    Managers are trusted communications and marketing advisors, partners to our clients and have their finger on the pulse of the industry, media and cultural trends.

    Managers work closely with Account Leaders to execute strategic public relations programs that meet client goals and integrate into the larger marketing mix.

    While PR focused, this role will collaborate with all areas of expertise of our integrated marketing agency including digital, social media, creative, content, influencer, data and strategy.


    Responsibilities:

    Role:
    Build understanding and knowledge of the clients' business and their challenging and rapidly shifting competitive environments
    Support the Account Leader in building strategic public relations programs
    Lead day-to-day execution of the public relations program. Develop and manage timelines, and weekly action plans, and supporting team members to ensure all deadlines on client programs are met
    Maintain regular contact with clients and media; proactively offer and implement new ways to meet client needs
    Coordinate media relations campaigns, identifying story angles, overseeing list and pitch development, and working directly with media day to day
    Demonstrate ability to effectively develop full range of written materials including beautifully designed presentations, compelling press releases, concise fact sheets, key messages, social media content and actionable pitch letters
    Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to senior team leadership for issues specific to assigned programs

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in PR
    Experience building and enhancing relationships with clients from day-to-day to most senior levels within the organization
    Strong PR skills including earned media strategy development, story ideation and pitching, as well as experience in or familiarity with strategic communications disciplines including thought leadership, crisis communications and internal communications
    Existing media relationships with a diverse set of media contacts in sports, business or lifestyle
    Excellent writing, editing, and presentation-development skills; project management skills; and consultative skills
    An entrepreneurial spirit and a collaborative attitude
    Accountability and a drive to achieve results
    Experience managing multiple large-scale projects/programs simultaneously

    Knowledge and passion for the game of golf and sports overall
    Experience with with golf media and industry a plus, but not required
    Experience with media monitoring and project management software a plus, not required
