About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team and lead our pricing function.

In this role, you will be responsible for our pricing efforts for government contracts, overseeing the entire process from the identification and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) phase through to formal submission.

You will work hands on while providing your expertise to the overall strategy of the company.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assume the role of Pricing Leader within the Company, with direct reporting lines to the CFO.
  • Take full ownership of all pricingrelated activities, encompassing pricing buildups, composing Cost Volumes, and similar tasks.
  • Collaborate in the development of effective pricing strategies on a perdeal basis.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of our indirect rate structure and its translation into competitive pricing strategies.
  • Institute streamlined processes and protocols to ensure systematic, repeatable, traceable, and auditable pricing practices.
  • Maintain close collaboration with teams across Proposal Management, Business Development, HR, and Finance.
  • Develop sophisticated cost models to support pricing strategies and provide insights into cost structures.
  • Stay current on government regulations, contract requirements, and industry best practices related to pricing. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with pricing strategies and proposals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience leading the pricing function of a defense and/or government contracting company.
  • Proven experience in government contract pricing, with a focus on identification, ROM, and formal submission phases.
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and government contracting processes.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in cost modeling and financial analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex pricing concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel and pricing software.
